Training Course Objective |

| Based on Omrons NS range of HMIs
and using the NS Designer programming software the course
is aimed at technicians and engineers responsible for writing
HMI control applications and modify existing programs. It
is not necessary to have any previous knowledge of HMIs however
anyone attending this course should have previously attended
at least a basic PLC training course. |

Day 1
Concept
of using an HMI:
An explanation of how HMIs simplify PLC control system, save
money and reduce system downtime.
Screen
Control:
How to control the screens displayed on the PLC, by events,
by alarms, by an operator and by the PLC.
Push
Buttons:
How to set up and use the different type of input push buttons.
Lamps:
How to set up and use the different type of lamps displays.
Fixed Text:
When and how to set up fixed messages, moving messages, create
and access hidden messages.
Upload
& Download:
How to upload, download and save HMI programs. File management
and how to modify existing programs. |

DAY 2
Alarm
Message:
Set up and manage an alarm display page.
Diagrams:
How to design, draw and display a working diagram of your
application.
Bitmap Displays:
Import and display bit map images.
Input
Data:
How to input data into your system.
Data
Display:
How to display system data. |

DAY 3
Graphic
Display:
How to produce analogue displays of system variables.
Practical Applications Exercise:
Design a working application. |
